Grammy\u2011winning artist Drake has just put out a new track called\u202fWhat Did I Miss? that makes a clear link between his rocky love life and Bitcoin\u2019s wild swings.<\/p>\n

According to reports<\/a>, he raps, \u201cI look at this shit like a BTC, could be down this week, then I\u2019m up next week.\u201d<\/p>\n

That line isn\u2019t just catchy\u2014it’s another sign of how Bitcoin references are moving past finance blogs into hit songs.<\/p>\n

Adoption Numbers And Hype<\/h2>\n

Based on reports from River, nearly 5% of the world\u2019s population has used or owns Bitcoin so far. That\u2019s a long way from Blockware\u2019s forecast that 10% could be on board by 2030.<\/p>\n

Those numbers show that while the buzz is loud, real wallets holding Bitcoin remain few. For many, Bitcoin<\/a> is still a headline rather than a habit.<\/p>\n

State Level Moves Shift Policy<\/h2>\n

Last month, Texas<\/a> became the first US state to set up a public Bitcoin stockpile. Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill\u202f21, creating a standalone fund run by state’s comptroller.<\/p>\n

That setup keeps the reserve out of the normal state treasury, so it can\u2019t be raided for other expenses. A follow\u2011up bill, HB\u202f4488, cements its legal protection, making sure the fund stays intact no matter what.<\/p>\n

Not every state has pushed ahead. In May, Florida dropped its crypto legislation, joining Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Montana and Oklahoma in pulling back. Arizona\u2019s House Bill\u202f1025, despite getting farther than any similar measure, was vetoed by US President Donald Trump on May 3.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin Lyrics Hit Home<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s new verse isn\u2019t his first high\u2011stakes play with crypto. Back in 2022, he put $1 million worth of Bitcoin bet on the Super Bowl. That bold wager grabbed headlines and showed he takes crypto chances seriously.<\/p>\n

Now, by weaving Bitcoin into his music, he\u2019s giving millions of listeners a taste of what traders already know: prices can swing hard, fast, and without warning.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Drake\u2019s new song and Texas\u2019s reserve show two sides of crypto\u2019s rise. The pop\u2011culture nods pull attention, while real\u2011world policies test whether Bitcoin can move from hype into everyday use.<\/p>\n
