Twenty of the top internet companies have made history by pledging to work together to address the problem of AI-generated misinformation influencing elections around the world. An agreement unveiled on February 16 at the Munich Security Conference formalized this commitment and presented a united front against the possible abuse of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
