A Nevada woman has been sentenced to five years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman using Bitcoin (BTC) to kill her ex-husband. Kristy Lynn Felkins, the 38-year-old resident of Fallon, Nevada, pleaded guilty in March to a murder-for-hire charge as part of a deal with federal prosecutors, according to a press release by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
